Victoria ‘Tori’ Bynum, LMSW

*Salisbury, Berlin and telehealth

Tori graduated with both her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and her Masters of Social Work from Salisbury University. While in her masters program, she worked as an intern doing school-based therapy with elementary aged children. She would continue her work with children after obtaining her MSW as a Mental Health Counselor for Accomack County Public Schools, working with grades Pre-K through 12 across all 11 Accomack County schools. Tori obtained her LMSW licensure in the summer of 2021. After this, she took a break from social work and went back into hospitality, bartending for 2 years. Tori is excited to once again be working with clients in a therapeutic environment. She strives to make each individual feel heard and primarily uses CBT in order to help clients connect their thoughts, feelings and actions in order to produce improved outcomes. She strongly believes in empowering individuals to be autonomous, especially youth who often do not feel understood by their adult counterparts. She discovered her passion for working with youth after her internship and job in the school systems.
